Here at the Taylor House Museum, we are very excited about our 2026 season. Along with the whole country, the state of Maryland, and our local Berlin community, we look forward to celebrating the 250th year of the founding of this great human experiment, America, a nation founded on a governing system built by the people, for the people.

The Taylor House has worked hard to plan a season of programming that, as Governor Wes Moore said, will  “celebrate our successes and reckon with our setbacks”. Our goal is to showcase Berlin's history as a microcosm of American history, focusing on both individual stories and collective community action, particularly the work done in the 1970s and 1980s to revitalize Berlin’s historic downtown. Along with those new exhibits, we have concerts, movies, and shared storytelling events that will help us highlight our collective past and gather new stories of our local community. We hope you join us as we proudly tell the Stories of Berlin for 2026.
