2011 Berlin Peach Festival's Scheduled Events -

RAIN OR SHINE

12:15 p.m.: Welcome by Mayor Gee Williams, 2010 Little Miss and Mister Berlin Peach Peyton Elliott and Dylan Mandley, and the newly-crowned Little Miss and Mister Peach 2011.

12:30 p.m.: Cheer on the kids as they "shake their booties" to create home-made ice-cream.

12:45 p.m.: Kids' Peach Toss game.

1:00 p.m.: Performances by Twisters Gymnastics and Cheerleading Teams.

1:15-1:45 p.m.: Music by The Peach Pickers.

1:30 p.m.: Kids' Cupcake Walk.

1:45 p.m.: Janice Marshall, Storyteller from Smith Island.

2:00 p.m.: Kids' Walnut Shell Boat Races.

2:00 p.m.: Pie Baking Contest, pre-registration required (limited to 13 entries).

2:30 p.m.: Janice Marshall, Storyteller.

2:45 p.m.: Junior Pie-Eating Contest.

3:15 p.m.: Adult Pie-Eating Contest.

3:45 p.m.: Kids' Cupcake Walk.

3:45 p.m.: Town Celebrities Pie-Eating Conrest.

4:00 p.m.: Haiku readings.

4:20 p.m.: Taylor Museum Raffle Basket drawing. Need not be present to win.

4:30 p.m.: Kids' Cupcake Walk.

4:30-5:00 p.m.: Music by The Peach Pickers.

5:00-6:00 p.m.: Picnic Hour. Pick up your picnic supper from vendors at the Peach Street Cafe or the Cafe Annex at Stevenson Methodist Church across the street. Enjoy games such as croquet, bocce, horseshoes, Graces, etc.

6:00-7:00 p.m.: Concert on the Lawn by Peter's Voice.

 

Additional Events in Berlin:

All weekend enjoy speacial peachy offerings at downtown merchants and restaurants.

1-4 p.m.: Wet Paint Sales by artists participating in Paint Berlin.
Sale held at the Atlantic Hotel on Sunday.

2-3 p.m.: Children's sidewalk painting on Jefferson Street,
Sponsored by the Worcester County Arts Council.
